Why Duke Security

AX Pro Alarm on Hik-Connect App

Base Packages

We keep things simple with clear, upfront fixed costs and no pushy sales tactics. Our standard packages are designed to cover most homes—protecting key entry points and main living areas. If you’d like wider coverage (e.g. garage, garden office, extra doors/windows), we can add detectors at a simple per-item rate. Every package includes professional installation, tidy finishing with no visible cables where possible, full programming, app set-up and training, and a 12-month parts & labour warranty.

Note: Prices are confirmed after a quick survey to check layout and connectivity. If anything unusual is required, we’ll flag it first and agree costs before work begins. Not sure which package fits? Call 01733 639096 or request a free survey.

Why Choose AX PRO

  • Set/Unset anywhere: Arm, disarm and check status on your phone.

  • Instant notifications: Push alerts for alarm activations, tampers and low battery.

  • Event history: See who armed/disarmed and when.

  • User management: Add or remove users and guest access.

  • Areas/part-set: Protect downstairs at night or a garage/outbuilding in the day.

  • Remote checks: We can assist with diagnostics and small tweaks without a site visit.

Pet Friendly

Our detectors are immune to pets under 30kg (about the size of an adult German shepherd). If you think this may still be a problem, please call us. There are other devices that we can use to keep your property secure.

5 Year Battery Life

The main panel requires a 230v power supply which can either be plugged into an existing socket or hardwired into your existing ring main. Each component (motion detector, door contacts) has a battery life between 3 – 5 years with moderate to heavy usage. The batteries are changed where required, as part of the maintenance charge.

AES-128 Encryption

The Advanced Encryption Standard, also known by its original name Rijndael, is a specification for the encryption of electronic data.

What’s Included in a Typical Installation

  • Professional design survey to map coverage and risk areas
  • AX PRO hub, keypad/fobs and external bell box with your details
  • A tailored mix of wireless detectors (PIRs, contacts, shocks, as required)
  • Programming & testing of every zone and entry/exit route
  • App set-up & training on your devices (set/unset, alerts, user access)
  • Neat placement & tidy finish—we keep the install discreet and cable-free wherever possible

Add-Ons & Expansion

Want to cover extra rooms, doors or outbuildings? We can add:

  • Outbuildings: Secure garages, sheds and home offices without trenching cables
  • Perimeter protection: Outdoor PIRs or beams to spot intruders earlier
  • Room-by-room options: Curtain PIRs for windows, pet-friendly PIRs for living spaces
  • Panic & keyfobs: Quickly arm/disarm or call for help at the touch of a button
  • Smart lighting: Program internal/external lights to react to alarm events
  • Smoke Detection: Receive fire alerts via the dedicated app

Tidy Install Promise

We pride ourselves on clean, discreet installations. Controls and detectors are positioned carefully, and we avoid visible trunking in living areas. Where a short cable is unavoidable (e.g. power to the hub), we keep it neat and out of sight.

AX PRO vs Upgrading an Old Panel

If you already have a working wired system, you might prefer an upgrade for app control. If the existing kit is unreliable or you’re refurbishing, a fresh AX PRO install is often the neatest, most flexible option. We’ll explain both and recommend the most cost-effective route.
